Congolese Gospel is Lit!

It’s that time of the year, 2017 is drawing to a close and if you’re anything like me, the month of December is a moment of self reflection and most importantly of gratitude. If I were American, I believe thanksgiving would have been my favorite holiday.

We lead such busy lives and with all the devastation in the world, taking time as a family or alone to be grateful for what little graces that we have is not easy, but can be very rewarding. At the beginning of this year I decided to be more practical about being grateful, from the smallest things like waking up that morning (yeah, I know!) to landing that big client; I took the habit of documenting them. Over the course of a few months, my greatest discovery was that I could take on the harder days from a hopeful place knowing that they only last for a moment.

Music is a big part of me and I would like to share my current YouTube playlist of some of the most amazingly talented Congolese Gospel artists and it’s my hope that you are blessed during this festive season and start the new year refreshed and ready to tackle all things with grace.

“In all things, give thanks to the Lord” – 1 Thes. 5:18.
