“Gratitude turns what we have into enough” _ Maya Angelou
Most Americans are preparing to celebrate the thanksgiving holiday, and for most of us with Instagram, let’s brace ourselves for all the pictures of the delicious food that _ let’s face it _ we would gladly trade for another trip to the treadmill.
Well I am not from the US, but this is one holiday that I like. Thanksgiving was originally celebrated to give thanks for the year’s harvest, and filter down to the average me, giving thanks is something that I some times don’t do enough of.
So what are you thankful for this year? I ask myself. I am thankful to be alive. I quit my job 5 months ago and am fully focusing on my business, and for that I am grateful for each passing day that I am able to work and build a life for my family in my own terms. My list is long, but I am surely thankful to finally see Kongo Travels take off, it’s been such a long time coming and the right timing just never seemed to materialize.
What is the one thing that you are grateful for?
